Dr. C. Andrew Sales is a Board-Certified general neurologist with an emphasis in otoneurology, which concerns ear and balance disorders. Dr. Sales earned his medical degree from the
University of Arizona in Tucson. He conducted his internship in internal medicine, as well as his residency in neurology and fellowship in otoneurology, at The Ohio State University. Dr. Sales is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Vestibular Disorders Association. He joined Neurology Associates in July 2020 after more than two years of practice in Washington state.
Dr. Sales chose neurology because of the profound connection between the mind and body. Understanding that association on a deeper level helps him to guide patients to lead healthier lives. He focused on otoneurology after watching a close family member suffer from severe vertigo. As such, Dr. Sales views healing as more than medical treatment. He believes in the power of compassion and empathic listening as he guides patients back to a sense of normalcy.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sales embraces life. He loves cooking, learning foreign languages (he’s fluent in French and knows Russian, Tagalog and Japanese) and playing music – the piano in particular.
Importantly, until the COVID-19 pandemic passes, Dr. Sales is able to see existing, and some new, patients over telehealth video. Visit our Telehealth page for details and FAQs.
