Sunitha provides psychiatry and behavioral health treatment at Neurology Associates Mesa.
Sunitha earned her post-master’s certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her Master of Science in nursing leadership from Grand Canyon University. Sunitha is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Sunitha’s background includes more than two decades in nursing, and five years in behavioral health and psychiatry. She has worked in different specialties, including orthopedics, bariatric, hemodialysis, telemetry, and medical-surgical. This vast range of experience has added to Sunitha’s unique ability to help people. She views herself as a “listening and comforting soul” who gives patients a supporting hand, and practical solutions, for managing emotions and mental health problems. Her aim, she says, is to assist patients in “discovering a renewed sense of vision, hope, and future possibilities in their struggles.”
“I enjoy myself by making my patients smile and by guiding them to lead a peaceful life,” she says.
Outside of the office, Sunitha spends time with her family, and enjoys traveling, cooking, church activities, listening to spiritual and motivational talks, listening to music, and learning new things.
