Neurology Associates operates complete MRI systems in our Chandler and Mesa clinics. We own top-tier machines with software that delivers detailed information about conditions of the brain and spine. We also team with a reading service for expert analysis. Our neurologists take that data and use it to tailor a treatment plan just for you.
Finally, if you need an MRI for a reason not necessarily related to neurology, we can still help. We are certified to conduct MRI exams for all parts of the body except the abdomen and pelvis.
Ask your primary care physician to refer you to Neurology Associates, or schedule an appointment directly by calling us at 480 800 4890.
Do you have patients requiring specialized neurological care, including MRI exams, but who cannot, or do not want to, travel all over the Valley to separate doctors and imaging centers?
Neurology Associates Neuroscience Center provides MRIs in both our Chandler and Mesa clinics. As you seek to help your patients gain convenient access to MRIs that will show any changes over time accurately thanks to consistent calibration, refer them to Neurology Associates. Learn more about the specifics of our setup below.
Neurology Associates owns two GE Healthcare SIGNA machines. They measure magnetic flux density at 1.5 Tesla and feature Excite technology that processes images faster and more accurately than other models. They also employ the PROPELLER technique to reduce motion. Our systems also use high-density multichannel surface coils to outperform traditional MRI scanners by almost 40 percent in quality and speed.
Neurology Associates relies on CorTechs Labs’ 3D post-processing software, NeuroQuant and the associated module, LesionQuant. The software is critical to detecting and treating neurological conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, multiple sclerosis and more.
We partner with ProScan Reading Services (PRS), founded by Stephen J. Pomeranz, MD, for expert interpretations of medical imaging exams. The PRS team comprises highly specialized, board-certified, and fellowship-trained radiologists. The doctors dedicated to Neurology Associates are Benjamin LeSar and Anshu Shukla.
Overall, with our combined MRI capabilities, not only does anatomical information come out with more sharpness and accuracy, but patients do not have to stay in our machine for as long as many other MRI systems may require. This makes exams more comfortable, especially for people who have trouble holding their breath during certain procedures.

NeuroQuant, which has FDA 510(k) clearance, provides volumetric measurements of brain structures and compares the volumes to a normative database adjusted for age, sex, and intracranial volume. The automated technology accelerates analysis, allowing Neurology Associates providers to elevate the evaluation of disease progression and spend more time with patients.
LesionQuant automatically labels, visualizes, and obtains the volumetric quantification of segmentable brain structures and lesions from MRI brain studies, within minutes. It visualizes lesions and lesion-volume change, and shows precise quantitative measurements that aid in clinical assessment, treatment, planning, and disease-progression monitoring.
